Academic Research

SoilVision Systems Ltd. is dedicated to supporting education in academic institutions and creating partnerships with academics. Through generous discounts this software is provided to professors to use for their research in the fields of geotechnical or hydrogeological numerical modelling. Our software is currently in use in over 150 universities around the world.

Why use SVOFFICE™ for research?

  • The finite element applications within the SVOFFICE™5/GE suite (SVFLUX™GE, SVHEAT™GE, SVAIR™GE, and SVCHEM™GE) make use of a math scripting language similar to MathCAD. Therefore, researchers can modify or enhance our formulations without requiring our input. This allows researchers to quickly prototype and explore new formulations to solve. More information about these math scripts can be found here.
  • Our slope stability software already implements the most advanced analysis methods available anywhere. This creates opportunities for researchers to apply these new technologies to real world problems.
  • Significant and frequent internal research
  • Contribute to its continued development and increased adoption
