SVOFFICE™5 was recently updated with the following improvements, changes and bug fixes. We strongly recommend that you update your software to the most current version.

  • NEW: Borehole import: an interface which allows the import of lithology data from a CSV file or a gINT database has been incorporated into SVDESIGNER™.
  • NEW: User defined input of heat capacity in SVHEAT™.
  • IMPROVEMENT: Improved date stamp behavior for objects created or copied in SVDESIGNER™.
  • IMPROVEMENT: New customization options are available when importing data from CSV files, including XLS file support.
  • IMPROVEMENT: Modifying a volume in SVDESIGNER™ will preserve material assignments where possible.
  • IMPROVEMENT: Critical sliding mass export improved in SVSLOPE®.
  • IMPROVEMENT: Various meshing algorithm improvements.
  • IMPROVEMENT: Meshing progress indicator added.
  • FIX: Corrected some errors when saving 2D models to 3D and when saving 3D models to 2D for specific situations.
  • FIX: In SVSOILS™ an error with Burdine fit of the SWCC was corrected.
  • FIX: SWCC entry not saving for Unsaturated Fredlund material in SVSLOPE®.
  • FIX: In SVSLOPE® the critical sliding mass caclulated from one run was being retained on re-run of the analysis.
  • FIX: Modifying artwork in SVOFFICE™ works properly once again.
  • FIX: Modifying site photo parameters now updates the display properly in real-time.
  • FIX: Occassional crash occured when using the measurement tool in 2D view of a 3D model.
  • FIX: Manual entry of Piezometer date and time values error fixed in SVDESIGNER™.
  • FIX: Some further dialog fixes for users with large DPI monitor settings.
  • FIX: Fixed an issue with the Frictional Undrained material in SVSLOPE®.
  • FIX: k minimum value was not being converted to the correct units when an SVFLUX™ material was imported from one model to another.
  • FIX: The SVFLUX™ Pressure Head boundary condition option was inadvertantly disabled.
  • FIX: Corrected an issue when entering the Fredlund Bimodal SWCC specifically when SVSLOPE® was combined with SVFLUX™.
  • FIX: Display of support geometry was offest incorrectly in a 3D SVSLOPE® Orientation Analysis.
